Arizona state senator-elect Wendy Rogers is doubling down after being chided by the fake news media for refusing to throw Confederate general Robert E. Lee under the bus due to political expediency.
On Monday, Rogers posted in a tweet that Lee was a “great patriot and a great leader” and that is why he was being targeted for removal by cancel culture:
She then followed that up with a controversial statement venerating Lee’s patriotism above that of the modern Left:
Robert E Lee loved our country more than Antifa, Soros, China,
Rogers pointed out that Lee bravely served his nation while socialists subvert and destroy their host nation from within:
Robert E Lee served his country and his state which is more than most of these socialist imposters have done.
When the fake news attempted to scapegoat her, Rogers posted the hit piece defiantly and refused to back down an inch:
Not sure I am seeing the issue here.
Weak beta males and anti-white communists were equally triggered by Rogers’ steadfast unwillingness to grovel and whined on Twitter about her remarks:
While the haters may be angry because of Rogers’ unabashed sentiments about General Lee, they pale in comparison to former President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s praise of the man.
Eisenhower, a five-star general who led the Allies in Europe during World War 2, proudly venerated Lee as one of the finest Americans ever to live:
Additionally, Eisenhower wrote a long-form letter in defense of Lee back in 1960.
“General Robert E. Lee was, in my estimation, one of the supremely gifted men produced by our Nation. He believed unswervingly in the Constitutional validity of his cause which until 1865 was still an arguable question in America; he was a poised and inspiring leader, true to high trust reposed in him by millions of his fellow citizens; he was thoughtful yet demanding of his officers and men, forbearing with captured enemies but ingenious, unrelenting and personally courageous in battle, and never disheartened by a reverse or obstacle,” Eisenhower wrote.
“Through all his many trials, he remained selfless almost to a fault and unfailing in his faith in God. Taken altogether, he was noble as a leader and as a man, and unsullied as I read the pages of our history,” he added. “From deep conviction, I simply say this: a nation of men of Lee’s calibre would be unconquerable in spirit and soul.”
Leftists, with help from their cowardly conservative enablers, are erasing Lee from public life and committing a blood libel against his sterling reputation as part of their ISIS-style cultural genocide against traditional America. Senator-elect Rogers is a patriot for not participating in this ritualistic castigation of a national hero.
