Secession Camp was well represented with nine camp members attending this year’s Leadership Conference held at Saluda Shoals Park in Columbia, SC on February 3, 2024. The day was spent learning about the duties of Commanders and Adjutants. Secession Camp”s own Past Commander, Charles Long gave a presentation to the group on the topics of Camp Meeting Agenda and Procedural Manual, Duties of a Commander, Main Motion Steps, and Potential Camp Activities. Division Commander Perry Smith, Division Chief of Staff Dean Stevens, and Division Adjutant Blake Moore also gave presentations and question-and-answer sessions.
