Members
It is the duty of the Sons of Confederate Veterans to defend the Confederate Soldier’s good name, and to ensure that the true history of the South is presented to future generations
SCV Full Membership
All male descendants, lineal or collateral, at least twelve years of age, of those who served in the Confederate Army or Navy to the end of the war, or who died in prison in actual service, or who were killed in battle, or who were honorably discharged, shall be eligible for Full membership.
Associate Membership
Associate membership in Secession Camp is a partial membership offered at the will of the Camp membership known as Full members, to any male of at least twelve years of age not having a verifiable Confederate ancestor. Associate members can be active in Camp functions and activities, but may not receive a certificate of SCV membership or wear SCV badges. They have no vote, nor may they hold Executive office in the Camp. They can, however, be members, including Chairman of camp committees.
Cadet Membership
Any male from birth to twelve years of age with a Confederate ancestor, either lineal or collateral, whose interest and concerns conform to the goals and objectives of the SCV shall be eligible for Cadet membership.
